We are only over for a few short days during the week and no weekend –
Yes We are travelling close to Chatellerault our route is:
1.Monday 3rd April - Ferry Portsmouth to St Malo overnight 3rd land 08:45 and ride the D roads down to La Rochelle remembering to go over the Bridge at St Nazzire (Great views) Approx 220 miles. staying at a B&B Hotel close to the town centre.
2. Tuesday 4th April - La Rochelle - Tours the scenic route staying in the Express Holiday Inn in the city centre. 210 miles
3. Wednesday 6th April - Tours to Angers via Le Mans circuit on the D roads - 175 miles - another Holiday Inn again in the town centre
4. Thursday 7th Apr il - Angers to St Malo short ride stopping by Le Mont St Michele, nice hotel in the old town of St Malo. 136 miles so we can enjoy St Malo's atmosphere. And Ferry home morning of the 8th April.
We aim to leave La Rochelle at approx 10:00 on the 5th April taking the following route to Tours…
D50 Veigne → N10 Tours and overnight stay in Hotel.
If you are able to you could ride the route the opposite way and we are sure to cross paths - If we cannot meet up along the route we are going to be riding in France again in time then we can meet or if you come over to England I could meet up with you.
